In a pressure cooker, add the drumsticks, onions, and tomatoes. Add the turmeric powder, red chili powder, sambar powder, ginger garlic paste, and salt.
Add the water and mix everything together.
Pressure cook the mixture for 5-6 whistles.
Once the mixture is properly pressure cooked, use a strainer to separate the broth.
Next, take the drumsticks out and use a knife to make a slit and remove the inside gooey flesh portion of the drumstick. Discard the hard exterior. Repeat the same for all the drumstick pieces.
Next, take the onions and tomatoes that were separated from the broth and mix it with the drumstick’s interior flesh.
Add the onion, tomato and drumstick flesh mixture. Saute. Let it cook for a minute.
Next, add the black pepper powder and salt. Mix.
Add the strained broth next and mix well.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Serve hot after sprinkling some black pepper powder on top.
